Amy Jo has worked for and with community-based organizations such as The CityKids Foundation, Planned Parenthood of NYC, Gay Men’s Health Crisis, the NYC Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center, Settlement Health and a host of other HIV prevention and youth serving agencies in New York City. She has trained everyone from front line staff, counselors, social workers and educators, to medical professionals, doctors, and administrators. She understands the workings of community based organizations, particularly as they relate to competent service provision and effective programming.
